Laulhère, awarded Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label

In 2013, Laulhère was awarded Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label by the French government. This prestigious labes distinguish French companies with excellent craft and industrial know-how.

What is the EPV label ?

The Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label is awarded by the State. The company must have a specific economic heritage resulting from manufacturing experience. It must have equipment, tools or machines of rare techniques, and/or industrial property rights, and/or implement an active approach to creation and innovation.

The company wishing to obtain the EPV label must also possess rare know-how based on the mastery of traditional or highly technical manufacturing techniques, and/or train employees internally, particularly apprentices, in these skills.

Finally, the company must have a well-known name or brand, and/or have a socially responsible approach, and/or have been established for more than 50 years in the same geographical area, as is the case at Laulhère, our production has been in the south-west of France, in Oloron Sainte-Marie, for 180 years.
